There are many ways to support Lifetime Assistance, the Foundation and the many individuals and families we serve each day. Please consider a gift that will make a difference in the lives of children and adults with developmental disabilities -- and their families.
Memorial/Honorary Contributions allow
you to make a gift in memory of or in honor of a person(s) of your
choice. Your gift will be listed in our quarterly newsletter and, if
you wish, the person(s) will receive a card notifying them of your very
thoughtful gift.
Leaving a Lasting Legacy, by
planning your estate, you can take care of your family today and
Lifetime Assistance tomorrow. Lifetime Assistance Foundation offers
many opportunities that generate a life income and provide for Lifetime
Assistance at the same time. You may also receive a charitable tax
deduction.
A Bequest is an easy way to make a planned gift. It is easy to arrange and can be part of your estate. It can
be a specified amount, a percentage of your estate or a residual portion of your estate.
A Charitable Gift Annuity is a simple agreement that provides Lifetime Assistance with a gift of cash and/or marketable securities in exchange for life income paid to you and/or others. You receive a charitable deduction. Upon your death, Lifetime Assistance applies the fund toward the program you designate.
A Charitable Remainder Trust provides a fixed or variable income stream for life. The trust can be funded with real estate, cash, securities, or fully paid-up life insurance policies. You can also create a trust through your will to provide for family members. Regardless of the type of trust, the donor receives an immediate tax deduction and also chooses the length of the trust. The trust can be for a lifetime or a specific number of years, up to 20 years.
There are many ways to give. All of us at Lifetime Assistance are grateful for our wonderful volunteers who give freely of their time and hearts. As an extension of our workforce, these wonderful people are an integral part of our organization.
Each year, we have many volunteer needs and welcome you to become an event volunteer or committee member.
